Young’s Auto Center & Salvage Warrants All Parts for 30 days subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below.

Young’s Auto Center & Salvage is continuously striving to be a leader in the Auto Recycling Industry. The utmost cares has been taken in the buying and dismantling, testing and cleaning of the parts you purchase so as to assure you many miles of motoring pleasure. If however a problem should occur, the following procedures apply:

1. All engines are warranted against cracked cylinder blocks or heads, bad cam or crankshaft, excessive smoking, and to be in good running order unless otherwise stated.

2. Used Engines purchased must have new oil and filter installed upon engine installation.

3. You must provide for a new tune up upon installation of motor (to include points, plugs and ignition wires.)

4. The warranty for engines does not cover attached items or accessories such as water pumps, fuel pumps, carburetors, distributors, computers, etc.

5. Transmissions are warranted to be in good working order against slippage or shifting failures.

6. Engines and transmission must have new seals and new oil installed upon installation to vehicle. (Warranty does not cover rear main engines seals.)

7. Vehicles which have Young’s Auto Center & Salvage engines and transmissions installed must have proper coolant, capacity levels and be in good operating condition.

8. Proper Oil levels and cooling levels must be maintained at all times for the warranty to be valid.

9. Warranty is void if heat tabs are melted, removed, missing from engine for any reason.

10. Defective engine and transmission must remain installed in vehicle until and authorized Young’s Auto Center & Salvage representative can confirm the defect.

11. All warranty work must be done by a Young’s Auto Center & Salvage certified shop or representative. Any work performed by a non Young’s Auto Center & Salvage shop must first be approved by a Young’s Auto Center & Salvage Agent or representative.

12. All warranty claims must be presented to an authorized agent or manager of Young’s Auto Center & Salvage within a period of thirty (30) days from date of purchase for warranty to be valid.

13. Young’s Auto Center & Salvage, at its option, may replace the parts, repair the parts or refund the original purchase price of the parts at its discretion. Adjustments to be made are for parts only -NO LABOR.

14. All implied warranties are limited to the terms of the limited warranty. Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

15. Warranties on any product sold shall be in effect only for the duration of the express warranties contained herein and upon conclusion for the expressed warranties herein. There shall be no warranties expressed or implied including merchant ability and fitness for use on the product sold.

16. This warranty does not cover damage if parts are used in connection with racing purposes, or applied to vehicles with racing components and equipment.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents or misuse.

17. Improper installation methods will void warranty.

18. WARRANTY IS VOID WITHOUT RECEIPT.

19. 25% handling charge on all returned merchandise. NO EXCHANGE after thirty (30) days.

20. No refunds, guarantees, or exchanges on electrical parts and carburetors.

21. Young’s Auto Center & Salvage does not assume responsibility for towing charges, lay-up time, telephone charges, losses due to down time, cost of lodging, meals, cost of vehicle use, inconvenience or car and truck rentals.

22. Any merchandise or invoice marked AS-IS will void the Limited Warranty. This means NO WARRANTY - NO REFUND.
